    Upload a document or describe your project through the contact form — a file isn't required to get a quote, but it helps us price accurately the first time. No account, no sign-up.

  2. 02

    Get a fixed price.

    We review what you've sent and reply within 1 business hour, Monday to Friday, with the price, the turnaround, and what's included — before any work begins. Nothing is charged at this stage.

  3. 03

    We translate and review.

    One linguist, matched to the subject matter, translates the document. An independent second linguist then checks the translation against your source — not a light proofread, a full comparison.

  4. 04

    It's delivered.

    Your translation arrives by email in the agreed format — a signed, submission-ready PDF for certified work, or your source format for everything else.

This is the whole of our quality process, stated plainly rather than dressed up as a certification: every translation is produced by one linguist and then checked, independently, by a second before it's delivered. The reviewer works from your original source document, not just the translated text — so the check catches meaning, not just spelling. Nothing goes out the door that's only been read once.

Your documents, handled in confidence

Confidentiality is standard on every job, not an add-on you have to ask for. Documents are used only to prepare and deliver your translation, transmitted and stored securely, and accessed only by the linguists working on your job.

Files are used only to prepare your quote and translation, and aren't retained once the job is complete or a quote isn't taken up. A signed NDA is available on request, at no extra charge.

Delivered the way you need it

Certified documents are delivered as a signed, submission-ready PDF, with an editable Word copy on request. Everything else — contracts, reports, manuals, localisation files — is delivered in the same format you sent it in, so it drops straight back into your existing document or content system without extra formatting work on your end.

Questions about our process

How do I get a quote?
Send your document or describe the job through the contact form — upload a file if you have one. We reply with a fixed price and a turnaround time within 1 business hour, Monday to Friday.
Who actually does the translation?
One professional linguist translates your document, then an independent second linguist reviews it before it's delivered. Both are qualified in the relevant language pair and subject area — never machine translation passed off as human work.
Can I speak to someone directly?
Yes. Loyal Translations is a small team working from one office in Swords, Co. Dublin. You'll deal with the same point of contact throughout a job, by phone or email.
Do you use machine translation?
No document is delivered as raw machine output. Where translation software supports a linguist's workflow, every sentence is still translated and checked by a human. Post-editing of existing machine-translated text is offered as its own service, clearly labelled as such.
What languages do you work in?
Our regular language pairs are listed on the homepage and the Services page. If your language isn't listed, ask — we work with a wider network of vetted linguists beyond our regular pairs.
How long does a translation take?
It depends on the service and document length — standard and rush timelines for each service are on that service's page and on the Pricing page. As a guide, a short certified document is typically 2–3 business days; longer specialist documents take longer.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Within 1 business hour during our working hours, Monday to Friday.
How is my translation delivered?
By email, in the same or an equivalent format to what you sent — a PDF certified translation, an editable Word document, or your original file format for localisation work.
Can you meet a same-day or next-day deadline?
Often, yes, as a rush job — get in touch with your deadline and we'll confirm whether it's achievable and what the rush surcharge is before you commit.
